Get Involved

Be a part of emergency preparedness and response

Being a part of Seattle ACS means putting your skills as a licensed ham radio operator to positive, civic use. Members are expected to participate on an ongoing basis in regular on-the-air nets as well as occasional in person meetings and even real-world events and activations. It's a good way to hone your amateur radio operation skills and learn from a friendly and enthusiastic community.

Join ACS

As a prerequisite to join ACS you must complete the ICS 100, 200 and 700 online FEMA classes and provide copies of the certificates or proof of completion. These certificates may be uploaded during the online application process (button below) or may be sent subsequent to application by emailing join@seattleacs.org.

Additionally you will need to have an active amateur radio license (any level). See below for study and licensing links.

To join Seattle ACS, click on the form button below to fill out the online application.

Please note: you will need a Google Account to complete this form (and to access ACS files and resources in future). If you do not already have a Google Account you may set up a new one with either a new Gmail address or associate a new Google Account with an existing email address (without using Gmail). See this help page for information.

Donate

Regardless of whether you are an amateur radio operator you can support Seattle ACS through donation. Visit our donation page for details.
